Biblical and Theological Essays is an anthology of selected articles that appeared during the first five years of the Detroit Baptist Seminary Journal , an academic theological journal founded in 1996 by Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. These timeless, thoroughly researched and documented writings by members of the DBTS faculty range from textual studies to ministry studies and include works that are on biblical and theological and historical subjects, as well. The editor, Dr. William W. Combs, academic dean and professor of New Testament, has been teaching at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary since 1983 and holds the Th.D. degree from Grace Theological Seminary.
